I just installed a DD rail for a friend, and the instructions just said to torque it to 50 ft lb. No mention of conditioning or anything unusual, just torque it down.
The supplied wrenches were pretty cheesy. Certainly not a high quality tool. They worked fine, but its not the sort of tool you'd want to use over and over. The rail was otherwise really nice quality.
