Why? A good, durable and inexpensive finish is a plus for any firearm.

How much does it cost to have a rifle Cerokoted ?

"... i am a bit of a freak when it comes to matching colors, do they different colors to choose from?"

You can have appliance epoxy in any color you want, as long as it's black. Or white.

Also: best not to do this when the missus is home. Ask me how I know this, lol.

And no you don't need to mask the inside of the receiver.....

After "cooking" the finish is a good match to what the Russians used, just much more durable.

Original finish on the top cover. Appliance Epoxy on the rest.

          ^^^^ This.
