^^^^ This.It's Appliance Epoxy, and when baked forms a very hard finish. It is very resistant to chemicals, and I have not had any issues with flaking, gumming up holes in the receiver ect. Just like Cerakote it's how you apply it that matters.
And no you don't need to mask the inside of the receiver.....
After "cooking" the finish is a good match to what the Russians used, just much more durable.
