You know I really didn't want to get in a pissing match with anyone. I'm sorry if I asked a question wrongly or an old one. I appreciate everyone's response and help on the matter. Thanks everyone.

Thing is if you hang around here long enough you will see what i mean.
This comes up far to often and yes I know you had yours done at a shop before all the BS started.
Thing is people are jumping on the band wagon and to many are trying to make a fast buck and getting in trouble doing it.
The ATF kicking in doors tends to make people reconsider their optionsComment

You don't need to buy a drill press to complete an 80% lower. Compared to using a router, a drill press is much slower and it's harder to get a nice clean finish. You also correctly pointed out that they are expensive. Check out the Easy Jig which only uses a router (the type you use on wood) and any hand drill. A nice new router is around $85 or you can pick one up on Craigslist for around $40 and sell it when you're done. Check out our the Easy Jig instructional video, it's really a monkey simple process. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SiHdV5slQps80% Arms
