You know I really didn't want to get in a pissing match with anyone. I'm sorry if I asked a question wrongly or an old one. I appreciate everyone's response and help on the matter. Thanks everyone.

Thing is if you hang around here long enough you will see what i mean.

This comes up far to often and yes I know you had yours done at a shop before all the BS started.

Thing is people are jumping on the band wagon and to many are trying to make a fast buck and getting in trouble doing it.

The ATF kicking in doors tends to make people reconsider their options

You don't need to buy a drill press to complete an 80% lower. Compared to using a router, a drill press is much slower and it's harder to get a nice clean finish. You also correctly pointed out that they are expensive. Check out the Easy Jig which only uses a router (the type you use on wood) and any hand drill. A nice new router is around $85 or you can pick one up on Craigslist for around $40 and sell it when you're done. Check out our the Easy Jig instructional video, it's really a monkey simple process. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SiHdV5slQps

I actually told my cousin to join the site and research everything himself and decide what to do from there. He actually text me that he hasn't been able able to take his eyes off the forum.
