Well if you ever build a RPK or a PSL you are going to need risers to pop the barrel in and out.

If you are going to do original barreled yugos get the 20 ton. The barrel or barrel stub can be too much for the 12 ton to break free. Plus you get 32 inches of working height.

I just removed a M70 barrel pin and stub with my 12 ton. It went ok. You just need to add shims to fix the slop if it's an H-frame.

I couldn't get the barrel stub out of my M70 trunion with my 12 ton. So I put it in the freezer for a couple days, took it out and had the stub out in five minutes.

Obama ended the gun control debate when he decided to arm the Syrian rebels with fully automatic machine guns and rocket launchers. He proved people need guns to protect themselves from tyranny. Did he give the rebels background checks before giving them real assault weapons?

Yep you can hit the push bar under the jack with a hammer to get it to break free as well, I just prefer to use the right amount of tool for the job. Dueling Banjo music is not my style.

I'm hoping not to buy a press.

Get the 20. I've never used mine for gunsmithing (yet) but its built much better over the 12 ton.

I'll offer mine up to anyone local. Bring some beer, ammo, gun parts, I'll let you use it for trade.

I have a blast box, drill press, and a bunch of other tools to loan in trade.

I populated a Yugo PRK barrel today on my 25ton OTC press.

I only had about a foot of space left in the bottom of my press frame.
I think there were 3 or 4 more holes that I could have moved the table down before it reached the floor.

The only bad thing on the HF presses are the plates .... they made of some cheap iron castings and they are notorious for cracking.

That's not the only bad thing. You gotta do some work to take the slop out of them. Still a good deal, and many an AK has been built on them
