AK folding stock options

My personal favoriet is a Russian/Bulagrian triangle folding stock. I picked one up from K-Var, and plan on putting it on a future build.

I'm working on it as I get time. Work has been ridiculous for me, too. I just finished a 14 hour day, and still have paperwork and emails to do.

I've got a Monsterman build done up to the point of welding rails, and I just spent another $300 on ak parts. As soon as they come in, I'll get the pistol parts sent out to be cut down. I keep telling myself I'm done with the AK builds, but I always end up with extra parts and you just can't have extra parts laying around!

Are you guys just using a set screw to pin your underfolders?

if the overall length is more than 30", you don't need to pin it. hence the extended brakes and cans.

Correct. You can find the necessary trunion on Gunbroker, I think they are a bit expensive at $50 or so... The one I bought was milled thinner to fit in a regular rommy type of build. The BEST part about that is you don't have to demil the long rivets out because the trunion is brand new. Worth the $50 IMHO

i know what you mean. i'm trying to finish a $10K contract. my galil clone has been patiently waiting on me. got another kit that isn't even fully demilled yet. oh well, building birdhouses just aint me.
