I'd try an already proven lpk. Could be a manufacturers defect.

you can use a needle file to oval out the holes and it will still function make sure the hammer can move free and easy you can even oval those holes a little forward as the hammer should hit the disconnector then bump a little forward then catch on the front of the hammer you could even stone your trigger sear a bit back

          relax nothing is ruined yet

just take it slow get used to installing and disassembling a bunch of times

okay, so the disconnector that is assembled with the trigger seems to engage too much, so in the video as you see, i have to press the disconnector so that it is fully released.

hope that help i cant take pictures of it when its assembled but i can see whats going on.

Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.

Dpms and Armalite lowers have different locations for the holes.

                    BTW it's not an AR 10 it's a LR308 patern.

There's no way in hell i'd ever egg out a hole to fix this.

All I can say is you are going to have to double check your dimensions and then figure out what is not in spec.

So I'll admit I boogered up a hole once on a naked 80%.
I did egg the hole first then tig welded the goofy side. A few minutes of filing and all was fine.
If it had already been an anodized one I would have had a bigger issue. Was pretty easy to deal with and is still functioning fine.
I second KC, don't egg it out as a fix. Sounds dangerous to have a wobble in the thing that makes bullets go bang. No upside.

Is the milled trigger hole in the bottom of receiver long enough/located in right place ? does trigger stop/crash in elongated hole restricting travel?

Which LPK are you using. It should be a LR-308 LPK not an AR10 LPK.

                            Re-time the disconnector.
Go read the install instructions for the JP gunsmith-fit trigger and then apply what you learn in there about disconnector timing to your fire control parts.
I could offer to help you with it, but you don't list your location in your profile so I have no idea if you are withing driving distance of me or not...

Yea check your trigger hole because if that is not correctly positioned the rear of the hole is to far forward it can catch and stop the trigger from moving completely back but feels like it is fully back.

Good thing is filing on the trigger hole to move it a bit back will not make anything worst.

                              Otherwise what AR15 said.
