I read on calguns that if you shoot a 5.56 barrel enough, it turns into a 7.62x51 barrel.

what do you get when you shoot your then newly made 7.62 barrel a bunch... 50BMG????

I see three options:

Return the barrel for refund or exchange

Try a different bolt

Put some rounds thru it, it may be just fine.


Rainier Arms does make quality barrels. I hope you are able to find a happy solution.
