    Polymer Paperweight

Has anyone finished a JMT 80%?

Thinking of doing one of these in the future if the fair wind blow in my favor, and wanted to know if anyone has had luck doing them using just a drill press?

What mnichols said X2. Take your time. The videos that have been created don't show a bit or end mill "chattering". Make sure you have a good vise and have it securely anchored to the drill press table. Check, double check, then triple check before you drill or mill anything. a messed up lower and a pregnant woman have this in common - you can't unscrew either of them.

If you screw up the trigger or hammer pin holes, like someone I know did, KNS anti-walk pins are your friend. You can hog out the holes a little and the KNS "dog bones" will retain the pins much closer the correct position.

      Hope this helps.
