    Need Professional AK Builder

I have a Romy G built on a tapco flat. One of my spot welds came up and I just simply dont want to deal with it.

I am going to purchase an NDS-3 receiver. I want to pay some one to demill my old AK and put it all back together again in using the NDS-3 receiver and all other parts. O course park/paint and all those other things I will need performed as well.

I am in Fresno CA. Will ship if I have to.

My question is...who or what company does this? How much? How long will it take?

Thanks for all replies in advance.

I figure that if I ever manage to finally pickup 2 NDS3s for my RomyG kits that I'll send the whole mess to m24armorer and get him to work his magic. He's in Los Gatos, IIRC.

Any idea of his pricing and turn around time?

What is your turn around time and the finishes you offer? That includes all wood as well correct?

No idea. But everything I've read says he does excellent work and is very reasonable.

                PM him and find out.

                  Just a thought...

Your kit is worth $150-$180. You are going to buy an NDS so an FFL transfer is needed anyway. Well, if you add the $50 for the FFL, The $55 for the NDS3, the $200 to build it, and then the value of your kit... say $170... thats about $475. Well, you might consider picking up an AK online at Lanworld or CWS, it might end up about the same after selling your Romy G kit off. And you'll have it in 10 days

If you do go with Weezil_boi's suggestion
Can I have dibs on the kit?

                        What's up pbrand

I was thinking of building or having an AK built for me as well, but I'll be leaving Fresno on July 11th to relocate in Sacramento so I'll have to ask around there I guess. Good luck and keep us updated.

He cannot accept receivers, but I believe if I'm not mistaken that he can work on your receiver while you're physically present while he does his magic on it. It'd be like a mini one-on-one AK build party.

Thats correct. Unfortunately I have neither the time nor patience to sit around and wait. I just want to send it off and one day in the mail have a surprise. FEDUP is great, I have built with him before. I am pretty sure he doesnt have the time either as I know he is very busy.

weezil is on the money here. it's now cheaper to buy a finished rifle than to send a romy kit out to be built.
