go with the above. TNGuns or gunbroker. i bought the one of gunbroker and its great.
Dont bother with a CSS 80%. its alot of work and it about .020 to narrow on the inside. the trunnions dont seat good unless you start narrowing down your trunnions to fit inside. (milling works best)

Contact your local gun store and ask how much they charge for out of state transfer. Prices vary from $50 to $150. Its not regulated. Plus you need to pay all other fees. DROS and tax on the receivers. I know rifle gear charges one dros fee for multiple receivers.
For building a PSL its the easiest way to go but not the cheapest.

Yeah. I know about tranfering from out of state. My question was sending from one dealer to a Cali friendly dealer out of state then to your Cali....... nevermind. Answered my own question. LOL

Here is a question that I can't answer myself. Does anyone know a Cali friendly middleman dealer that does deals like this?

So, my father (Paulie) showed me the receivers for our potential PSL Build, but I have to wonder, looking at the receivers, as nice as the NODAK One is, it appears to be build for use with a standard AK Stock and Pistol Grip. Our Kit has the original PSL Thumbhole Stock and I'd like to use that... Is the Nodak receiver there capable of modification for use with the PSL Stock? That's the biggest issue I see at this point. If it's doable, we'd be good to go!

I bought the nodak square back receiver from TNGuns. You can use the original cut receiver stub to mark the new receiver. Then I used a 2 1/8" holesaw in a drill press to cut the sides of the nodak, then a dremel to cut the bottom between the two scalloped cuts. A file cleaned up the edges and done. Pretty easy just go slow.

Ah! So it can be done! My father and I were discussing it and he felt it was quite possible... hearing this from you confirms it. That's excellent. I think we'll have to go with one of these Nodak Receivers then!

I can't recall if our kit has the rear receiver stub or not... It may have already been demilled... but I imagine we could still figure it out.

Also, our kit still has the intact Bayonet Lug and threaded muzzle... so we'll need to go 922r... I've got the Receiver, the Hammer, Trigger and Sear and a Gas Piston... that's Five. I believe I need one more. Any ideas where we might find US Made Magazine followers or the like?

PSL without a bayonet lug is a sporting rifle as it never came with a 10+ mag=no 922r requirement
