Thanks for the heads up! We kinda figured there'd be a problem, but I still would like to finish a lower on a conventional mill, rather then cnc, id like to do a upper on the cnc.

All the instructors there are pretty cool, I get along with Chief. I've been going in on saturdays and Mr. Nguyen, the night instructor for mod 5 has been helping me too.

Oh yeah, chief gets along with everyone!! You'll see what I mean when you realize how much you really learn in the later mods!! He just tries to be a cool guy, your friend, and talks too much! Thats my only complaint. Other than that the program is awesome. You will really enjoy. Dont strive so much for the mentor hat- alot of employers refuse to hire, based on the ideal that B students are better all around. I had a 4.0 the whole way, but kind of stick to myself so I disnt qualify for the mentor hat. Look at it this way, our two mentors have not been hired yet. Sucks!

Just focus, ignore the bull****ters. 20% are there just to extend unemployment and to avoid their parole officers. Ahahaha

I'm pretty lucky, my class doesn't have those problems. We are all pretty down to it. I can actually see about 8 out of 11 qualifying for mentor. I did come in on the night class for make up, I can say Chief is the BEST Mod 1 Instructor! the whole night class seemed like your description. We had a visit from the President of the school today, ur right he is anti. and friends with DiFi
