If its a Sarco then the Slide Stop hole to the fire control holes are off by several thousands. I know because I have 6 of them...

All the ones that I have are correctly drilled on the fire control end its just the dimension from the Slide Stop to the Fire Control that's off and that can be corrected as long as you have about 0.428 between the Slide Stop Pin (for final fitting) and the Vertical Locking surface for the Barrel. As that dimension has no bearing on the Fire Control Group. Just don't use the Slide stop as a starting point for any other work to be done. Take your measurements from any other points that are correct, other than decking the frame..

BTW, the ejector and disconnect holes on the top need drilled. The top must be flycut, and the rail width must thinned.
            plunger tube holes too

They look like the old Sarco "Decorator" frames. The dis-connector hole and the ejector holes need to be drilled and the barrel seat has to be done. The MSH slots also need to be done if it is indeed a Sarco, which in its day was being offered as 80%, but as some here have observed, that categorization is a whim of the ATF and changes as they please.

My take is that as an 80% or anything less than a serialized firearm his friend can give it to him but he can not complete it and give one back as consideration for doing the work on both. That makes him a manufacturer in the eyes of ATF. He might be able to "gift" it to him but that looks questionable.

I can agree with others that the FCG will come together.
              Good luck!
