Welcome. Good luck on the pursuit of the FFL. I am sure it is a time consuming process with lots of hoops to jump.

      I'm sure there are more.

If I where you I would look into FMK, they make pistols here and plenty of people would like to buy one because of it.
I was going to suggest FMK also. Only someone who has done it can give advice. I am in CA an I would want to purchase one.

        Best in your adventure,

A few years ago we got a new dealer in town and while talking to him about a few things I discovered. He was just starting his business and his federal license was already needing to be renewed. You ask why because California delayed his California license for over a year and a half. The costs of the various licenses and insurance was outrageous. After a few years he moved his business to a smaller place and doesn't sell guns anymore. He has mostly got into the reloading business.
Like most things in California you can find a group that the government will subsidize and if you end up in it you will do great. If you are not in that group which includes most of the small businesses and gun related businesses you will be the one paying for the subsidies.

This or the Las Vegas area. Why beat your head against a wall here in Cali when you go to a state that actually wants your business. I own a business here and its not just the laws, regs and taxes that are here now, its the new ones they come up with every year. This state is run by people (liberal Democrats) who haven't got clue one about what it takes to run a business. They look at us like banks they can make endless withdrawls form.

Ha, not even closr man. Ca has the most anti business climate out of the entire nation. Look up business freindly state rankings and you'll find CA at or very close to the bottom. You'd think that CA feels it can subsist on hollywood, union dues and illegals without anything else. There's a reason why business is leaving CA in droves.
