I like the rad-lock, but if you loose that little tool your kinda SOL until you can grab another. I use a BB on my AR and prefer that over a Prince 50 any day.

For an AK I think the Rad-Lock would be best. They don't make a Prince 50 for the AK and IMO with the bullet button, the mag release is difficult to actuate with a tool.

I have both JJPERL's AK Mag Lock system and Radd's AK Mag Lock System, and both suite my purpose just fine.

One thing about the Radd Lock (already mentioned) is losing the tool, but it is ok since I have several other rifles with the Radd Lock and I have several more tools.

I've never seen a close up of a radd lock tool. What shape is the end? Could you use a round punch if you lost your tool? I don't think I'd like being SOL if I lost a proprietary tool.

I lost it last time i went to the range. I just use a flathead screwdriver(stuck behind the lock, not in the hole). Works better than the tool anyway.

+1 to a flat head working ten times better than the tool. I have yet to sucessfully use that tool. I wish it were easier to release the mags with the Raddlock but I do like its slim design when compared to the clunky but functional BB.

No question, I prefer the Jjperl BB's versatility and durability.

Took me a few tries, but I can actually change mags pretty quick with the Raddlock. My first few times were pretty clumsy, made worse by the fact they were at the CWS table demoing for customers. But, there's a trick to it and once you've got it, it's pretty fast.

                    Its gotta be the button?

I only tried to use it at the Crossroads show but I was not overly impressed. The Raddlock operation is kluge and the proprieary tool is also discouraging. However I do appreaciate the intention for us CA owners.

None of the above!!! Get the JumboPanda bullet button!!! That way if you have a MMG you can decide which you want to take with you based on circumstances One day go with bb and pistol grip, next day...."I wanna use my old hi caps" just swap in the MMG and remove the BB in a snap. Non invasive!
