Busted AR lower

Happened to me, I used a extra strength 2 part epoxy, just a dab will do ya, put a little bit on both sides and depending on how it broke exactly,(mine wasn't a shear break more of a crack and peeled break) I used a small c clamp to hold it in place for a while and used a small knife to shave off any excess epoxy as it was drying. Worked great and can hardly tell it broke. Btw this was on a raw lower that I painted so touch up was easy. Don't feel to bad it's a non critical area and **** happens

Great advice. Mine is a very clean breake, and I have JB weld.

Has anyone used that 2-peice epoxy called X-7 ? I think that's what is called ?

i have found that usiing a bench vise to install the pins for the trigger guard is the easiest way. once it is almost to the end i then use a punch. but i have used a bench vise by itself and it is flush. i had a few sheets of paper folded in between the receiver and pin so not to scratch the receiver

Mag pul MIAD full kit has an insert with an integrated trigger guard but they are a little hard to find since they started making seperate trigger guards.
