So finally went to he range to test out the AK, problems all day.
First there's the light strike issue. never an issue with the first round, that always goes off. On the 2nd round, press trigger, "click". Eject the round and the primer clearly has been struck. 3rd goes off, same issue with 4th round.
Once awhile, I don't eject the unfired round, I rack to reset the trigger and the same round goes into the chamber, it will go off the second time.
And once a while, after a successful firing of a round, the trigger does not reset. The action is pretty smooth if I rack it back and forth. But sometimes if I don't rack the charge handle really hard, and release it slowly, the bolt would get stuck, on what looks to be where the hammer is.
So my first thought was the disconnect spring, usually if your trigger doesn't reset, you forgot it. Well, I didn't, it's in there.
Romanian kit with Tapco single hook trigger.
Any ideas on what I should check next?
Thanks
