The Scorpion based in the 7.62x17's rounds (straight blow back) is nothing but a b....ch.

It would be the same as an AK pistol.
Barrel would have to be at least 6 inches, Being 10 1/2 inches overall length, and be a single shot when built then add a bullet button and a 10 round mag and you are good to go.
I learned something the other day.
All off list pistols have to be built, sold, transferred in a single shot configuration to be legal then you as the end user are legally able to convert it back to semi so long as the bullet button is used on pistols that take a mag outside the pistol grip and a 10 round mag is used.
As for the magazine being used as a vertical grip. At this point it is not illegal. But the Doj can change their mind at any time and get a law passed or amended.Comment

Fair enough ( to a certain point).
Sir, with all due respect;.... have you ever build a VZ gun platform before??? (I have, more than I would like to disclose, and .... I can prove it,........ can you???).
Sir, are you familiar with some of the different kind of action operations, bolt configurations and pertinent modifications of the gun platforms in this thread been discussed ( call my name any time, if you would)????
Are your statements based on experience or ?????
PLMK.
Respectfully

There are 100% frames available.
A friend of mine got one and a parts kit. The next thing I knew he had it together, evidently it goes together real easy.
Make sure you follow all applicable laws (state and federal).
I hear they bump fire very well...Comment

No, you can't get a handgun frame complete in CA. Has to be a complete single shot exempt, or a rostered gun. They make 80%s as well, and I'd ask X for details since he's built them!...Comment
