Thanks, EXACTLY what I was looking for. Everyone and every forum has questions, but not many forum posts (if ANY) have the "lessons learned" from the encounters experienced from giving it your all and trying to follow those recommendations. (PS, would a pap m85 in your hand help you see some of the build hangups/fixes/etc?)
In a panic to make sure that I could enjoy the ak platform moving into 2013 and above and worying about ammo, but still RELOAD, I spent the money and bought 4 of these m85's. (I think that ammo is really going to become a problem) .
I have two kids and myself, I figured get um built and registered to the kits if Feinstein ever wins, and using the 5.56 we can reload and share ammo (I plan on doing the bolt mod to take the .012-.015 raised ring off, and mod the extractor lip and firing pin) (Although I have read a good swager (dillion SS 600) will repair the cases, but I digress;
I just want to take my time and build them right, I have followed along side your posts from akforum to akfiles to calguns, and think we share the "same" passion, so I am leaning towards just thinking if you can do it, I can do it (he he, playing, but not really, I can only hope that I have the skills necessary, but feel I do). Your yugo/krink collection is VERY nice, again, Im following in your foot steps..
Thanks for the information and the inspiration, thats for sure...
