i wonder how the iphone would handle recoil
perhaps you should integrate some kind of dampener
and..............
perhaps you shouldnt give away your possibly lucrative ideas away on the internet

You will need a way to keep the screen protected when folded, also the mount will need to be able to squeeze the phone and be adjustable. I had already mocked up a similar idea and started with the iphone window mount from Griffin. Also I found in testing that having it mounted on top vs side is much more battle action friendly.
As for investors, send me a PM as I was not into this idea to make any money from the mount and was looking for assistance possible partnership. I have already started two very cool usecase apps for military use. Developing for military is painful and they review all your code. One app makes the heartbeat sensor on the game look like childs play. BtW there are patents pending as required by DoD.Since we can never hope to understand why we're here, if there's even anything to understand, the individual should choose a goal and pursue it wholeheartedly, despite the certainty of death and the meaninglessness of action.

Also check out the mount from Knightsarmorment it is similar to your initial design and they made a buffer for the screen to keep it protected. Also they have a ballistics app called bulletflight. It's primitive but functional, your idea of geolocation is good however windage is very dynamic even more so than weather. Lets chat and see if we can make a good team. I am making military apps but maybe we can come up with some civilian use cases.Since we can never hope to understand why we're here, if there's even anything to understand, the individual should choose a goal and pursue it wholeheartedly, despite the certainty of death and the meaninglessness of action.
