    AR15 Tool Recommendation

I was at midwest website looking at some handguards . and they have options where can purchase tool separately .

    MI jam nut wrench $15
    MI barrel but wrench $15

Im looking for one tool that does all . if it has a 3/8 slot for torque wrench to fit thats a plus

not going to use the tool alot so i rather go cheap as long as i can get the job done

I've found this one but it does not have jam nut wrench ( maybe it does ? just different word ? )

Which jam nut are they talking about?
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.

The jam nut is probably the carbine buffer tube castle nut which that DPMS wrench does have.

I have one and two complaints. The paint/powder coating keeps flaking off, it would have been better in raw steel or maybe parkerized. The carbine stock castle nut section is not shaped right, it works but you have to fight it more than you should.

This one seems to have a lot

Since we can never hope to understand why we're here, if there's even anything to understand, the individual should choose a goal and pursue it wholeheartedly, despite the certainty of death and the meaninglessness of action.
