Thanks for all the info and "warnings" (LOL), there is something to be said about building something with your own 2 hands and being able to use it. I think I am going to be in trouble...but it sounds like I will be in good company.

Thanks for the invite but I'm planning on heading over to the gun show in Orange County. I'm going to see about some cut up AK's and ammo. Have fun, building an Aug sounds like a ton of fun.

MRA is right. It was an awesome AK party. Quite a bit of diversity with only a single person building an uncut Romy G build. Polish UF's, Romy SF's, RPK, and several new barreled concoctions I cannot mention.

Hunter- did you find any kits at decent priced kits? Usually gunshows aren't the best place to find these items.
