Just ordered a 1927 (1911) frame

I just ordered an Argentine 1927 frame and will be building my first 1911 pistol. I've done some work on my complete pistols. Change MSH, Grips Safety and Trigger. Throat and Polish.

But I've never built one from the ground up.

I would like to know if anyone could recommend a good book or video that I could read or watch before I get going on my new project.

How do you get just a frame in CA. I want one.

I found a dealer selling these to C&R holders. I have 2 C&R's. One in CA & one in NV. I'm having this sent to my NV license and will then import it on my CA license.
