I would reduce that area a little bit and ramp the leading edge. I never grind or file the ejector. Stand teh gun up on the butt on a hard surface and use a mallet or deadblow to hit the charging handle a hundred times. That will wear your ejector to fit

If its a flat build, he said it was, the ejector has to be fitted to the bolt if its making contact. I havent read of anyone not needing to fit the ejector on a flat build yet although Im sure its possible not to have to. If your ejector is too long it will push your bolt and carrier to the right. I couldnt even get my bolt to pass by the ejector it was so long. On finished receivers I have, the ejector wasnt a problem.

The right side of the receiver appears to be higher than the trunnion to the right of the red box. It should be flush with it. Run a straight edge across the top to check.

Good job, those ejectors are pesky, I had the same issue on my first build, took me a sec to figure it out.

Thanks bro...all I know is I love the thing and my wife and little ones think its bad a## cause I made it in my garage and because of all the video game exposure they think AKs are the shizzo..I do have to have to give NICOROSHI a tremendous shout out cause he was a huge help through the process emailing me and sending me links to how to videos ....that guy rocks an thanms again!!!
