    Side or top feed rifle?

So I saw a video the other day on YouTube of a custom side feed and suppressed .22 machine gun from Innovative Arms being used to hunt squirrels in a forest and I got to thinking about having a side or top feed rifle besides my future Sten, mpst likely in .22.

I know it is kind of weird and I know they aren't exactly standard but the cool factor would be through the roof.

That said, does anyone know of anyone that makes or has made such a rifle or even how one would go about making one? Mind you, I have a non-NFA rifle in mind.

The FN PS90 and AR57 are the only mainstream examples I know of.

I think the PS90 is cool, that's why I have one. Otherwise I'll pass on magazines that aren't in the same plane as the pistol grip.

Belt fed is cool, maybe you need a 1919 or an RPD?

Get both! I have both a full size 1919 and a mini 1919 in 22LR. Lakeside makes a belt fed upper for an AR that feeds from the side and ejects though the mag port.

The AM180 is another top fed .22LR. That thing is awesome, but i think the only mags are 100rds
