      Updated pics

Here are some larger pics per request.

To press the barrel in I bought a 4"x4" piece of Alu, drilled a hole in the center, cut it in half, then drilled holes on the edges to takes bolts that would clamp to the lower barrel, then I used 2 17" angle iron sections that rested on the above mentioned clamp and then added another block on top of those that the press contacted. Worked like a charm.

I actually have another kit I plan on building (yep I need treatment ;-) ), that if wanted, will take more pics of the step by step process.

Sweet! I built a PSL a while back using a Romanian receiver. A few problems but I overcame them.

Very nice, yet another build idea... working on the complete collection one piece at a time...

Here you go! I just got my receiver from them today. Looks good. It comes with a piece of paper showing where the holes go. I hope I'm not in over my head with this project. You have to order the rails separate.

                          Norm,

Grab the .dxf files (mid way down the page) from this site

and also the free viewer, I found it very valuable when doing mine.

Its actually not too bad once you get started, just tackle one piece at a time, and the old saying, measure twice cut/drill once is the best advice I can give you.

Croc, nice work! Out of curiosity, what scope you have mounted on there?
