Bend the left finger (the one with the little hook on it) of the leaf spring forward a bit - put a touch more pressure on the sear, cause it to pivot/press tight against the sear notch in the hammer and prevent it from slipping.       If it is relatively new and has the original barrel, I would would check if for loose breach. If it has loose breach and you are sending it to Kimber, have them fix it while it is in there.

        Well, it turned out to be my thumb safety. I installed a low mount safety and that was the curprit. I thought the installation was pretty straight forward but that's what I get for assuming. I put the factory ambi setup back and no more issues.
