Gunsmith vs. "Armorer"

Gunsmiths go to college to study the art, then work under an established gunsmith to learn the craft.

Most "armorer's" today went to a one or two day advanced field stripping "school", put on by manufacturers that pass out certificates to any warm body that can write a check, (or have someone else write it for them)....
