Post a location. So you're willing to host one?

Wanted to see if there would be interest in doing one, but if people could just go to a regular AK party maybe that would make more sense.

Converting a Saiga is significantly easier than building an AK. If you have a location somebody might be willing to help you out. I've converted a bunch and it's about a 2-4 hour project when I do it, but i'm teaching the whole time too.

After dumping around 1700 dollars into 1 freaking AR, I've suddenly developed a urge to get a couple of these, convert em, and beat the crap out of them. I mean, whats better than .10 cents a round, really.

I'm trying to pick up one in 5.45, if anyone's interested in selling one....

Alright, I'm picking up a saiga in 7.62X39 next week, anyone have any recommendations on conversion kits? I want the SAW grip, other than that I'm not picky.

I'll be buying a dremel as well, any recommendations on other tools?

Is there a reason you are going with the saw grip? I am trying to decide between a hogue grip and the saw.

Neither, use a MMG and drop your mags at will, no tool needed.

I just got the Saiga bug!!! I had ordered a AK-47 WASR from Riflegear....and then noticed that everyone was having problems stocking them....so I started to read up on the Saiga....I was like wow!!! and then I found out about the conversions.....very "neat" and cheap!!!! I ordered one..yes only one..I know....from Peach State Guns and it has been shipped to Riflegear. It will be there next week...and I will go handle the DROS...so I should have my Saiga 7.62 is about 15 days or so. I also want to get another one!!! any recommendations on the caliber??????????
