Need to get some rust off some surplus mags I got. Here about using KROIL and I went down to Home Depot and they never heard of it but I know it is around. Anyone know where I can find it in the So Cal Inland Empire area.

What does it cost , and is there a particular type to ask for.

dont sniff it.....well, dont inhale it. I got turned onto this stuff my CSA, and it works great. I got a bottle at the last Costa Mesa gun show.

Don't sniff it, LOL that's funny. I think that's the stuff NoDak covers their receivers in. So much so that every package is stained on the outside from the stuff and the UPS man wants to know what the hell is leaking form my packages

Kroil may work well but I have NEVER seen anything work as well as CLR. It removed rust that managed to fuse itself onto some lead pellets in a steel can full of water for along time. The rust was caked on. The CLR pretty much just dissolved the **** out of the rust and there was not a spec left after letting it soak for a little while. Im a customer for life! Just dont use it on stainless steel stuff. I think it will turn it black or something.
