Default What are your most task specific tools

That would be my, MY MEASURING DEVICES.

MICROMETERS, CALIPERS, & DIAL INDICATORS. On the precision end of projects. TAPE MEASURES and STRING LINES. On the cruder end of measuring requirements.

TASK SPECIFIC .......... they are only used to measure stuff. And are indispensable.

Ya gots to measure stuff before you can even begin going further.

I have a heavy barreled 700 in .308W, target stock, giant scope. It's only good for one thing.

I've got a Seecamp in my pocket right now, it's only good for the other extreme.

Have separate specified tool sets for AR, AK, and A Glock tool set I use for others.

Cholula, I use that **** on almost everything with eggs in it.

If you just shoot and clean as a routine thing, you really don't need many tools at all. If you shoot only HK, you don't need any tools, they come with any you really need unless you want to screw them up.

Mini14 and variants? Aside from cleaning stuff, nothing. Ruger 10-22? Same. Glocks? Unless you mess with what already works - nothing. Same for almost all guns really.

A good set of bits for a quality driver handle, a few punches.

Take your guns apart less and they'll work better. More damage is done to guns taking them apart than using them.

I pretty much do the same thing. And I put everything into its own toolbox. Saves time in the long run.

Our local Chinese supplier just came out with a socket set that is exclusively 10 mm. I never realized how important they were until I saw the ad.
