    Time to reline

I don't think the Chore Boy copper scrubs will work on that one. I have used Chore Boy on lots of old milsurps to good avail. The debris and pitting in your bore look pretty bad even with the out of focus issue. A new liner is probably in order. Take the rifle to your gunsmith for an estimate when you get the Anschutz drilled and tapped.

You could always see if you could use something like a Skinner lo pro.

I recently cleaned my grandfather's 1894 Winchester. He bought the rifle in 1917 and I don't think he ever cleaned it. The barrel was dark and looked corroded. I tried everything and could not get it clean. I read about CLR and used it, and got a lot of black carbon out of the barrel. Now when I look down the bore it is clean and the rifling is sharp. If you suspect you have rust, try CLR, the R stands for rust.

BTW, I have a Savage/Anschuts Sporter. It is my favorite rifle.
