I agree.
Not a single picture that was posted was in-focus enough to actualy get good information from it.
The "shiny" parts he is talking about are the over-exposed portions where the light is brighter than the camera can deal with so you can't even tell if they are high or low areas.Randall Rausch

The best way to get rid of bore leading is to get a copper "choir-boy" scrubbing pad from the store. Tear off a chunk of this (use some pliers so you don't get some finger cuts) and wrap the chunk around that worn out bore brush. Run this back and forth in the barrel with a little bore solvent to scrub that lead out of the bore.
If this cleans out the leading you're good to go. If those are pits from corrosion then the barrel is toast. If the barrel is pitted you might consider having a barrel liner installed. A lot of times a liner with a new chamber can get an old 22 shooting better than new.Comment

You have an at least, 108 yr old 22. That spent its shooting yrs eating untold amounts of corrosive ammo.
Clean out the rust, keep the bore well cleaned and oiled to forestall any further rust.
And Choot It. I won't hurt it any further. And you may be surprised about its ability to kill cans, wabbits, and squirrels.
I've seen some pretty nasty looking 22 RF and also MilSurp rifles that gave acceptable accuracy.
And some of which, the cleaner they were. The worse they shot.Comment

Just replace it, but keep the barrel. Replacement dropping barrels are not expensive if you just want a shooter. Keep the old barrel in case you sell it.Comment
