Could be Germany too, depending on its age. Hawes/Sauer & Sohn were imported by EMF as well.
These days I think they are Piettas.

I was just taking this at face value:

I recently bought a new EMF revolver.

I am assuming (I know, I know) that by "new", he means "new, recent manufacture" and not "old and used but new to me".

I only own spaghetti and ruger single action revolvers.
I can't afford old colt single actions because I am about 50 years late to start collecting them.
I am working on a colt post-war double action collection though before they get unattainably expensive.
