It'll probably be ugly, but you could try those liquid rubber "dip it" products on the grip to thicken/customize the grip. Either block magwell and dip, or spread that on with a spatula.

Machine some stainless side plates with grooves and make it more blingy and stronger. Does not show teeth marks if you slap some antifa or blm in the chops with it.
