The first thing I do when reassembling a refinished gun or new fire control parts in a frame that's not been refinished is verify that all individual parts still move freely within the frame.
Paint buildup could make parts stick that moved free.
New parts could be wider and not fit.
Every part needs to fit properly WITHIN the frame before you can troubleshoot the INTERACTION of the parts.
If the parts were interacting properly before the paint work and are not interacting properly now, then the paint work is at fault.
It could simply be some leftover blast media making things stick.
Blow out the frame and check each part individually for freedom of movement.
The problem should be easy to find.

Barrel, sight and trigger work on most pistols and shotguns.
      Most work performed while-you-wait.

If your disconnector won't pop up under the force of the center spring leg when you release the trigger, you are going to get hammer follow.
My bet is that the disconnector is NOT indeed moving freely even though you "think" it is.
"Thinking" something means you don't actually KNOW it.

You need to KNOW that the disconnector is moving freely.

That left spring leg is not sitting on the sear properly either.

All fixed. Had a bur in the disco track preventing the disco from moving freely.
