I thought we were getting the 80% from YellowLogic.

Which by the way is a class act. The part looks great and they ship every thing very quickly.

I plan to build one of their 9mm lowers next month.

Yes, Kevin sells 80% forged pieces and is in no way connected with me/YellowLogic.net

There was mention of his lowers in an earlier posting, maybe the old thread.

      Just wanted to clarify.

Thanks mmca! Glad you like them!

Just to be sure, this is NOT happening this Sunday, but rather we are waiting til we receive the OK from BATF? Which could push it back a week or more? Am I on the same page?

Probably more like a month or more.
BATFE is probably going to be slow to respond to the request because they don't really like individuals making their own guns.

              But they will respond.
It's an FFL asking for a reply from both his agent and the technology division. It's not likely to get ignored...so we're very much looking forward to it!

                    Hasn't gone yet

Someone posted a concern about ATF raiding someone else's party. We determined the reasons, and are working with them to make sure they're comfortable with it.

The YellowLogic billet lowers are *awesome*! Also, there are a couple of other interesting surprises that will show up along the way...will post pictures soon.

Once we receive the response letter from ATF, we will schedule and give everyone plenty of notice as well as having a few things organized in advance.

Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

ATF? Raid?? BAH!! We are law abiding and should have little to fear.

If this party isn't going to happen because the gun shop can't do it/is afraid of a raid, can someone else step up with a location?

My 800 square foot condo with no tools isn't going to cut it or I'd volunteer.

if a location is all you need let me know. youd have to bring a generator for 230 because there is only standard 120 here. but i got an (somewhat) empty 4bd house and garage... not to mention a pool and bbq!!

Its more than just a location. equipment is needed. at minimum, drill presses, and jigs. it takes on average 4 hours to do 1. so think about that. a mill would be nice too.
