Drop In Trigger Compatibility with AR9

No not the brace, the actual buffer and spring combo. That's just as important. Don't want to be breaking the bolt catch. Get a heavier (9mm buffer) and .308 spring. Or the JP system if you got the cash for it (but it won't work with the alpha bcg, since it needs the removable weight and hollow rear end on the BCG). I've also read on the blitzkrieg buffer system and people seem to dig it when they need to tailor it to their build.

My AR9 uses a spikes buffer and JP .308 buffer spring. Again, no issues.

There's a lot of info out there you just gotta dig around. I think Brian enos forum and ARF had some good threads, as well as here on CG.

It’s a 9mm stock so I assume it’s designed with an appropriate buffer?

Yeah idk if the SB tactical pdw comes with a buffer or spring. However it says it's compatible with carbine buffers. I'd forego the standard carbine buffer and get a 9mm specific one.

Morning and it's no problem. I went thru this same thing last year. I'm by no means am expert so you may wanna do some additional research.
