Ak Team ,ak 47 receiver compatibility ?

built a polish underfolder years ago as a screw build and didnt really shoot it much so sold the kit and kept my receiver and wondering what it is compatible with ? meaning would a Yugo M70AB1 Flat Trunnion Parts Kit or Zastava N-PAP that apex has work with it ? are the folders and trunnion holes the same ?thinking i want my AK back in the collection

Yugo is a 1.5 mm thick receiver and the Polish I believe is 1 mm thick. I guess it could be done but a lot of work.

      Rear trunnion is different.

Just look for another polish underfolder kit.
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.

aww bummer, but that why i asked....

think the underfolders on the romy kits are differant also , might have to keep a eye out for a polish kit as i dont see them often anymore and dont have my flat bending tool anymore to make a new rec.

Build a hybrid. A yugo 1mm slabside front end and either a polish or Hungarian UF rear end

                Thems hot.

Kinda related to them- how do I get a highly polished bolt if mine is a matte silver? Specific combo to polish it? I do not polish things very well. The last thing I polished was my .45 ACP expander.

But with these bolt carrier groups, can I just buy one that is chromed or can I do something to mine to make it smooth and ultra shiny? I really miss my MAK-90. I think it had a Chrome bolt carrier.

A dremel and with polishing wheels and some mothers polish will do most of it a few tight areas you will end up doing by hand they bother you
