80% builds

Good to go for non registration, the last set of instructions on registering showed that if your receiver was an 80% then you must apply for a state issued number.
The regs left no option for a weapon self built and marked to ATF specs.

That said not of the above means a damn thing until the DOLA approves the regs. and it appears the the DOJ has merely resubmitted the same crap again.

Law doesn't go into effect until July 2018, The procedures on how to file for registration go into effect as soon as DOLA approves the regs submitted by the DOJ.

Problem is most people are to lazy to go read Penal code, so they try to get opinions from the web, which is the worst thing you could ever do.

I highly recommend you read the laws that effect you. Problem there too is people put their own interpretation on the law. That where a minor education in what a legal definition is vs a common definition.

We would point you to a Lawyer, but even firearms attorneys are limited in the advice they can give you. Since this is not 100% settled, they will likely give you the safe answer of "don't do it"

Realistically, if you have everything professionally engraved per ATF regs, I think you'll be good to go.

Ok so I'm good with my featurless AR/AK's or bullet button versions as of now built up from unmarked 80% receivers. Or only featureless good?

How about Bullet button AR pistols they still good or like the glock builds?

As long as the BB ones were completed before 2017, the way I read the law is that you're ok.

Holding pattern no more DOLA approved the regs, lawsuits being filed, don't know if that will help but there's the current status of the situation
