sig slide warning message removal

hi,

does anyone know a simple way to remove the message from the slide? i hope it is just a printed message that can be removed with solvents. or if copper brush may work?

Sig managed to design one if the most obtrusive loaded chamber indicators. CZ, Glock, Beretta, Kimber all seem to make California regulators happy without with less obnoxious designs. My guess is if you try to remove it, it will mar the finish. Guys doing cerakote slides just remove the whole thing and fill in the slot. Be honest you always wanted a gold gun with tiger stripes.
