So I`m getting ready to spray the lower and it hits me I never asked. Do I spray the inside of the lower or leave it bare?

I leave fcg area bare except for overspray. I am painting pistol lower now.

No! It must be applied with a brush!
I once pondered over the debate of 9mm vs. .40, then I was introduced to .38 super and 10mm and forgot all about it.

Just some food for thought. I painted 2 80%'s, one I used some VHT engine enamel paint from Auto Zone, the other Alumahyde. They both held up relatively well for average "range" use. I later got set up to do Cerakote so I decided to sandblast these lowers. The VHT came off with ease. Alumahyde was a slow going bear of a task to get off.

I finished my lower today. I went with the

Rustoleum appliance epoxy and baked it in the oven for an hour. I came looking fantastic.

Good for you. I am happy with my lowers I did with Brownells Alumahyde.
Have you put it together yet? Roll pin bunches makes it much easier.

Use engine paint. It's oil resistant
