I got it! Well the jig is slightly off. My trigger pin hole is at a 1 or 2 degree angle.
Lesson learned. Use the jig to mark the hole then use the mill or press to make a perfect 90 hole.
Next the trigger is much thicker than production sig triggers. Plus it's solid. Matrix recommend to take a file to the frame. .08 off that did not work. I had to take about .15 off. Not a big deal. It was easy to see when I had a 226 to compare it too.
I swapped all the internal parts for the 226 parts. Then it worked. So I put all the 228 stuff back in except the trigger aND trigger bar. Still worked then I put the 228 trigger bar in . Still worked. So I put the 228 trigger back in and nothing. Then I started taking measurements from the two triggers. At the point of contact the 228 trigger is .10 thicker than the new 226 trigger.
Over all I love this build I am just disappointed in little information I could find on line. I hope writ in this down will help someone else . I will be buy more of these kits.
It just nice to know where and what problems could come up. I think I got a frame that was a little out of spec. Thats the only thing I could come up with because everyone seems to have an easy time doing this pistol.
Matrix was helpful in email with lots of ideas he did a great job with helping with out seeing my gun. Ultimately it was a machinist buddy and a 226 to rip apart that found a solution. Now it's off to the range! After a few hundred rounds it will be time for greyguns parts. Then cerakote then new inserts for the night sights !
