1.265" and a .115 width slot? I'll keep that in mind. .04 is a serious amount to be off -_- lol. never the less it does work. thanks for refining that.

here's what i did. I welded up the slot I cut to better match your 1.223" dimension. didn't really pay attention to how wide I cut the slot. I used a foredom tool.

put the mag in place and noticed I can press the mag release and shove the mag further in .050"

So I measure where I'm at with the mage pulled down on the slot. then press the release and shove the mag in till it bottoms out. That was .060" or 1.283-1.285" ish so i welded up the slot delicately and re-cut it to 1.265" as I don't want the mag bottomed out hard on the slide or ejector or what ever it's bottoming out on. I figure .020 should be good if nothing drags or hangs up..

I polish up th eout side file down my weld on the inside of the mag body.

The mag now slides in and locks in tight with a subtle wiggle to it.

The slide moves and functions with no drag that I can feel or see. and the mag feeds dummy rounds perfectly, all fifteen rounds like it was factory.

So My suggestion would be to cut one mag on the low side and grind it back to your ideal fit.

Keep in mind tolerance stacking. I bet the lip we are measuring off of is not very critical in the function of the mag and could be +/-.015" then take the tolerances of the frame into account. the tolerances of the pistol parts them selves and you could get close to .050" difference. not to mention differences in how you are measuring compared to how i'm measuring.

Oh well this one is just to prove the gun out, break in the frame fit. I have a feeling the magazine fairy is going to pay me a visit and i'll find five brand new original capacity mags under my pillow...

I am having a similar problem. Matrix responded to my email quik. I tried 4 time to remove and re install the hammer strut as far back as possible. I can not get the mypistol to fire with the hammer cocked.

I had the same problem. It required filing the rear of the trigger guard to fix. ie, the trigger was not going back far enough. An easy fix once I figured it out. Good luck.
