Rem 700 Muzzle Break ?

I think they have the same profile so it wouldn't surprise me if yours is larger in diameter at the muzzle, being shorter, than mine. I measure my barrel at the muzzle to be .830".

I turned off the lazy button and opened a safe and measured it.
You're correct, muzzle on mine is a tad larger at .850".

I put SJC Titan on my wife's Remi 700. Shoots nice and flat. Easy to re-acquire the target.

Hold On I have the Utmost respect for Randal. I'm not trying to talk anyone out of anything. and Randal brought up some very good points about being able to see your bullet splash and call your own shots. Makes sense to me.

I guess i've never put that much thought into it because brakes are friggin loud.

well some are really friggin loud so,me are just a little more then stock loud.

And FYI I'm picking up a Rem 700 Milspec 5r this saturday from lockup. the first thing I'm doing when I bring it home is making a brake for it and installing it. More so to advertise my brake then anything but still
