I really wanna finish this project but I have no idea where to get the tools...

I just scrolled down the page and saw that I can buy it as a combo pack... whoops. and I've been worrying for a week about nothing lol.

Well, that being said do you guys know of any where else to get this stuff?

And do you know what the difference between an 11 degree and 90 degree would be? I don't think I will notice them when I am shooting.

You won't notice the difference. The 11 degree crown basically bevels the inner diameter of the barrel deeper so that if anything bumps the end of the barrel it won't damage your new crown.

I have had less than satisfactory results with those types of crowning tools.
It is the best option for a home job, but nowhere as precise as a lathe-cut crown.

I wish i had acess to a lathe, god knows if I had a machine shop i would stop buying guns and have the fun of building them myself... but I dont and I cant... So I went with this route

              It's a Mosin!
First time I saw this, I just shook my head, but I'll be damned if it doesn't work.

I think I just found 3 of the scariest pictures I have ever seen on the internet:

Lots of patience with a mill file and square, then more patience with a brass screw and grinding compound in a hand drill (Hurdy gurdy) -- It has been done like this for years and a mn is a perfect learning project --

Looks like renting the tool costs two thirds of buying one -- buy, crown, then sell the tool would be cheaper -
