Keep it simple! -
As a serious shooter and one who has a coach, I would say there is a market for shooters who are already B class and above who wish to advance to A, M or GM. The group setting never works for me, becasue the better shooters dont beneift as much and receive less attention. Therefore, one on one is beneficial. $75 for 2 hours is reasonable, but 2 hours is probably not enough time to really get a good practice in, but 4 hours is.
GM status helps along with a resume of releveant training. Up here in Northern CA there are some many overnight trainers with almost no experience who are filling up classes.

You will learn more from an A shooter who can teach than a GM who cannot.
That said, I have a friend who is a GM in USPSA and ICORE (the only revolvers that beat him are Miculek and Leatham) and he's a high school teacher... and has been doing small classes (limited to 4), for about a year now. PM me for his details.Last edited by CRTguns; 05-15-2014, 4:58 PM.Comment
