Hey guys I recently reviewed some cleaners from KG Coatings and it really takes a lot of elbow grease out of the equation. Really helps with cleaning up after moly and hard cast bullets. Here is a link to my write up. http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=886794

way to clean, this is what you want for reliability...
lots of grunge, makes Glocks happy!

I stopped cleaning my Limited Glock entirely and it runs like a champ. But if you want to get lead out of your barrel then just wrap some copper strands from a Chore Boy scrubbing pad around your bore brush. 10-15 seconds of running that brush through your barrel and you're lead free.Comment

or the lead cocktail, if you like a little chemistry. after normal hoppes #9 swab, brass bore brush and dry, plug the chamber end and pour in a 50/50 mixture of hydrogen peroxide and white vinegar. after 10 minutes pour out the lead, rinse and dry. works best on stainless barrels. lead is rapidly oxidized by the peroxide and remains soluble in the weak acid. Old bullseye recipe

Careful with that. Chore boy has been identified by ATF as a suppressor component.I stopped cleaning my Limited Glock entirely and it runs like a champ. This lead cocktail works great. Years ago, I got a 22LR bbl that was nasty, used this solution, and it came out good as new!or the lead cocktail, if you like a little chemistry. after normal hoppes #9 swab, brass bore brush and dry, plug the chamber end and pour in a 50/50 mixture of hydrogen peroxide and white vinegar. after 10 minutes pour out the lead, rinse and dry. works best on stainless barrels. lead is rapidly oxidized by the peroxide and remains soluble in the weak acid.
