      Shoot SS. You can put in a magwell. Also you can move the holster out a little (I used a black delrin 3/4 inch pad from tap plastics) and still maintain USPSA spacing. You can modify your gun (trigger job, external debur, custom barrel, custom bushings etc.). If you shoot Limited ten you're up against 10 rnds 40/45 and you do not have a chance because your minor. In SS you have 10 +1 rnds minor vs 8+1 rnds major - that's your advantage.

        I'm with Gordon. Get your feet wet and shoot single stack. After a few matches you'll get an idea of where you want to go from there.

        Personally I shoot limited all year and single stack for a month or two to prepare for a particular big match. I have a production gun I never shoot and I probably won't touch an open gun until I'm too old to see the sights on a limited gun.

          just remember when you switch back from SS to Limited that you don't change mags after every array....
