Lessons learned from a class gone bad AAR

I think the students carry equal blame. Why would you pay $450 to take a class from a 20 something college student with no real world experience? Taking some Magpul classes and doing Youtube videos with Chris Costa do not make you qualified to be an instructor. The people who took this class messed up. There is no reason to expect anything else when you take classes from an amateur. It's like being dissatisfied when you train with an SI instructor or a CFS "Certified" instructor.

I'm sure the guy is only refunding the class fee not the travel and hotel money.

If you eat at a restaurant and the food is bad you don't get gas money if your meal gets comped.
Yeah it sucks but the instructor did what he could.

You take your chances with any instructor. Guy is getting raked over the coals on the intertubes and learned a hard lesson about logistics. It happens. Huge bummer for the guys that traveled.

It is a shame to hide a mistake if it indeed get deleted. But at least it shows the true nature of those involved... I'd probably stay away from that range, that host and that instructor.
