    GSSF May 3 - 4

Just a reminder to all, GSSF match is on May 3 & 4. You don't have to come out for both days, either day will be fine.

Sadly, only GLOCKs can be used, so I probably won't be shooting. But I will be there volunteering, either admin work or RO'ing, in the morning on Saturday.

Why am I giving you a full week's notice? So you can make room in your busy schedules and head out to the range and get some practice in.

Good luck, and I hope to see you guys out there.

    Links for info.

There is. I think they're also doing a deal if you shoot both. I know you don't have one, but you could borrow a Glock from the club or someone else. Like Glenn, or Al, or Bill / Parker, or ...

They're having both an SSA match and the GGSF competition the same day? I don't see the dates for the SSA match, but on the home page is info about the GSSF competition.

Yup. I think they're crazy doing both the GSSF and the SSA match at the same time.

But I know it's gonna be busy tomorrow and Sunday. Tomorrow, both GSSF and IPSC will be concurrent.

              No big deal

We'll run both matches at the same time for the last 9 years without a hitch. All our Glock ROs and seasoned vet and The GSSF match is a no brainer. The Steel Madness match on Sunday will include a "mystery house" so being mucho ammo for the ride of your life.

Just came back from RO'ing today's portion of the GSSF. I had a great time and I know that there were a lot of first-timers to any form of competitive shooting and a lot of people who haven't even shot in over three months. There was a Glock armorer inspecting people's Glocks.

Should be great again tomorrow. Hope to see you guys out there.

I had a good time for my first time doing any form of competition shooting. The wife found it interesting and wants to get more involved as well.

For all those interested. The preliminary results have been posted. Their updated site doesn't seem to show when using firefox, so make sure you're using Internet Explorer or have the IE add-on for firefox.
